2010 Artificial Insemination Package
We are happy to work with and assist you in artificially breeding your mare using transported semen. Prior to breeding you will fill out an "Artificial Insemination Breeding Information Sheet." The information you give us is important for us to communicate with you and the stallion owner at appropriate times. Your mare’s breeding history is very important so that we can properly manage her while she is in our facility. Please be aware that first service conception rate with chilled transported semen is approximately 70%. Thus, your mare may need to be bred more than one cycle. A fee of $400.00 will be charged for each breeding cycle of 3 to 7 days. If the mare should need to stay past the 1st 7 day cycle, those days will be billed at $57.00 per day. This fee will include board, ultrasounds, palpations, artificial insemination, and semen evaluation. Medications and shipping charges will be billed separately.
